Shading Your Table Cells

You can create some pretty unique effects by shading certain cells within your table. To shade cells in your table follow these steps:

1. Select the cells you want to shade. 

2. Right click on the selected cells and choose cell properties.

3. Click on the down arrow next to background color.

4. Choose a color for the shading.

5. Click OK and the shading will be added to the table. ( See the example below)
