My name is Djuradj Babich. Well, practically though, it's only Babich. It's not that I dislike my first name. I am just a bit tired of trying to pronounce it over and over again, to the amusement of listeners, which in turn then try to repeat it. And they always do it the wrong way. That is why just Babich.

Here are few facts about me. First and foremost, I am a student. In my soul that is. I do study too. I am a Ph.D. candidate at Florida International University in Computer Science. You guessed right, I live in Miami (Beach), and no, I am not going to fix your machine (computer). As Edsger W. Dijkstra said: "Computer science is no more about computers than astronomy is about telescopes."

I am a huge animal lover and animal activist. I do have the best dog in the whole wide world. His name is Toby, and is featured below. And, as if I don't have enough school as it is, I also teach. Professionally. Academia.
